 Fox Grey SquirrelWat Tyler Country Park has a number of mammal species. Rabbits are common and can be seen along the paths and in the meadows. During quieter times of day foxes can be seen hunting around the park. Stoats and weasels can sometimes be seen dashing across paths and the tell tale squeak of a shrew can be heard from areas of long grass. Water voles can sometimes be spotted moving through the reeds in front the Pitsea Fleet bird hides and grey squirrels are becoming an increasingly common sight in the hedgerows and scrub.
